In Chapel today, the students came forward for a time of prayer and dedicating their instruments and voices to the Lord for worship.
In the same way that we might dedicate a child to the Lord, these instruments and voices were dedicated--set apart for the purpose of bringing worship to God and for the purpose of expressing His heart. We have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ, and have been made kings and priests to minister to Him. We have a special, new song that we can sing to God.
Teacher Michael Smith shared with the students about David, who established a tabernacle as an expression of his heart of worship to God. He talked about the importance of worship in both our lives and ministries; how our very lives should be worship to God.
The students responded with a time of spontaneous prayer and worship.
